Yes, it is a scam! Here's a similar scam: http://www.419scam.org/emails/2011-0...0149178.31.htm This hotel would not be corresponding through a free Yahoo email account in India. They would be using an email account through the web site, something likexxxxxxx@caesar-hotel.co.uk. The phone number, +448719961095 is a UK number that redirects to a mobile phone in another country, a common tool used by these fraudsters. And if you trace at the IP addresses in the header of the emails, they will show these emails are not originating in the UK, most likely somewhere in West Africa. These criminals will want you to send them employment application processing fees through Western Union, which is untraceable. As soon as they have your cash, you'll never hear from them again. And they'll take your personal information on the application and try to steal your identity.
